Showing more doesn't help: the dossier opens the requested period and closes on exit.

The inspector arrives unannounced and asks for three things: the plan in force, the records for the period and what was done about what slipped. Not your books, not your sales.

Inspection mode opens exactly that, as a dossier for a period, and nothing else. It isn't in the menu: you enter it on purpose, from a button on the dashboard.
